Say goodbye to the older Internet Explorer Versions 8, 9 & 10

Microsoft announced that starting January 12, 2016, Internet Explorer 11 is the last version of Internet Explorer, and will continue to receive security updates, compatibility fixes, and technical support on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.

If you are using the older version e.g. IE 8, IE 9, IE 10; then it is about time to determine if you need to move on to something better. An operating system upgrade perhaps or use an alternative browser life, Mozilla Firefox, Opera Chromium, Google Chrome etc., would be your next logical choice.

The main reason that you should take serious considerations on what to do next is be cause that security updates specifically patch vulnerabilities that may be exploited by malware, which in turn help users and keep their data safer. Regular security updates help protect computers from malicious attacks, so upgrading and staying current is important.
